Frequently Asked Questions

We need to find out what you want from laser treatment so we can give you an honest assessment of how well we think it will work. Some skin types and hair types respond better than others. We’ll also perform a patch test to make sure there are no reactions, and to gauge the effectiveness.
Yes, the laser needs shaven follicles for it to work properly. However, you should not shave immediately before the sessions, as it can cause cuts and irritation that should be allowed to heal. We usually say about 24 hours before the visit is perfect.
It’s entirely a matter of taste and needs, but once you have finished all your laser sessions, the treated area will be 99% hair-free forever. With most other forms of hair removal treatment, the hair will grow back eventually.
